This Friday and Saturday, October 23-24, the Latin American publishing industry comes together in Mexico City for Digital Media LatAm 2015. The conference focuses on the industry’s rapid digital transition, and brings together Latin America’s most innovative media executives and some of world’s most disruptive media companies to talk about digital revenues.
Many publishers’ digital revenues have been going up in 2014 but it’s still not enough to fill the gaps left by print. Publishers are confronted today with new obstacles to face, such as ad blockers. Other challenges they face are the proliferation of choices now that digital publishing is so easy, breaking news happening in non-traditional venues like social media, and the ever present obstacle of driving more visitors to their site.
There are lots of ways to tackle these obstacles. For example to incorporate new advertising models (e.g. native advertising), new products (e.g. apps and other experiences) and adding new content (e.g. social!): with our social media curation platform you’ll be able to improve engagement, drive down production costs, and increase revenue.
We’d love to talk with you about how you can create additional revenue streams by incorporating social media alongside your editorial content. Our colleagues Lucas Moretti and Claudia Lins are on site so make sure you visit at our booth (#9). Follow the conference from tweet to tweet on Twitter (#DML15 or @WANIFRA_AmLat).
