Next Wednesday to Friday, April 20-22, Europe’s publishing industry comes together in Vienna for WAN-IFRA Digital Media Europe 2016 (DME 2016). DME has become one of Europe’s largest digital events dedicated to the news publishing industry. Over 200 media & publishing executives from all over Europe and beyond gather in Vienna next week for the conference to talk about digital revenue.
‘Online Reader Revenue’ & ‘Tomorrow’s Revenue Today’ are topics that will define the DME conference this year. During inspiring presentations and practical workshops attendees will learn how publishers can increase their digital revenues and build a business around it.
We’re particularly excited to be joining the event this year to learn more about how publishers marry user experiences with driving revenue. Through our social media curation platform, we help publishers deliver a richer, more complete user experiences by adding the crowd’s perspective to stories. Because of our ad-supported shared revenue model, publishers can turn this engagement into revenue.
We’ve created a nice social flow on our sites. Our revenue from international traffic increased about 20% when we started using Crowdynews. Results have been great so far – we’re very happy.
-Peter Sibner, CEO of NewsMe
We’d love to talk with you about how you can create those revenue streams by incorporating social media alongside your editorial content. Our colleagues Julian Johns and Sytze Veenstra are on site so make sure you visit at our booth (#9) and talk to them. If you’re interested (or if you can’t make it to the conference), follow the conference proceedings on Twitter (#DME16 or @Newspaperworld).
Will you be going to DME next week? And are you interested in learning more about our social media curation platform? Email us at [email protected] to schedule a meeting at Digital Media Europe with one of our sales reps. We’d love to hear from you!
