As many of you may already be aware, there has been a major disruption of internet service due to a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack on DNS provider Dyn. This disruption has affected internet companies large and small, from Box to Netflix, PayPal, Soundcloud, Twitter, and more. It has also affected the Crowdynews service.
The impact for Crowdynews customers is that the Dashboard service may not be accessible, and content in published social streams may be missing or not refreshing.
We are actively monitoring the situation with Dyn and our tech team is investigating whether we can restore services partially. Once Dyn’s issues are resolved, we expect a period of restoration as the service gets up and running again.
We will continue to provide updates to clients directly via your Customer Success Manager, and also here on the Crowdynews blog.
